Lexington, KY—Following the conclusion of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships, Lexington’s Blue Grass Airport is anticipating a high volume of passengers flying on Sunday, November 6. With additional flights and many larger size aircraft in operation, the airport is recommending all passengers arrive two hours prior to their flight departure time. Passengers departing on Monday, November 7 are encouraged to arrive at the airport 90 minutes prior to their departure, as usual. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of mobile check-in and boarding to eliminate the need to visit their airline ticket counter.
Departing guests will have the opportunity to sample Kentucky food products, enjoy live music performances from Bluegrass bands and shop for Breeders’ Cup merchandise. The Club at Blue Grass, the airport’s business lounge, and airport restaurants will also have extended hours.
