Blue Grass Airport, in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements, will conduct a full-scale emergency preparedness exercise to evaluate response, mitigation and recovery procedures.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to participate as “passengers” in a mock disaster drill and to serve as “family members” for a family assistance portion of the exercise. This will allow airport staff and first responders from the surrounding area to practice their training and lifesaving skills. Specific roles will be assigned closer to the event date.

Space is limited. We encourage you to register as soon as possible. Complimentary food and a T-shirt will be provided at no cost.
