September 29, 2023—Today Blue Grass Airport is celebrating the start of daily non-stop flights between Lexington, Kentucky and Denver, Colorado. This new service offers central Kentucky passengers with easy access to not only the Rocky Mountains and everything Denver has to offer, but also provides a gateway to the west. Passengers flying to Denver can access more than 70 westbound destinations in the western United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and Japan.

With service provided on a 76-seat, ERJ-175 aircraft that includes a first-class cabin, United offers a convenient and comfortable option for passengers. The Mile High City of Denver provides 300 days of sunshine annually and allows travelers to enjoy the mountains with a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking and skiing. This new daily service arrives just in time for guests to enjoy the fall colors and start planning their winter getaways.

In addition to non-stop service to Denver, United Airlines offers three daily flights between Blue Grass Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). Members of United Club receive complimentary admission to Blue Grass Airport’s business lounge—The Club at Blue Grass—located in Concourse B.
