Valet Parking Service Reopens at Blue Grass Airport

March 15, 2022—Passengers seeking valet parking services at Blue Grass Airport (LEX) once again have that option. Closed during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, this service is provided by the airport’s onsite parking partner—Reef Parking—and provides an extra level of convenience for guests traveling from Blue Grass Airport. Instead of searching for a parking space before their departing flight, passengers can drop off their vehicle at the curbside valet location along the front of the terminal and proceed directly inside. Upon return, their vehicle will be ready for them with minimal to no wait.

“We are glad to reinstate this popular service that saves time for so many of our passengers” said Eric Frankl, executive director of Blue Grass Airport. “The reopening is paired perfectly with the return of so many travelers to the airport. With spring breaks currently underway and business travel continuing to increase, passengers can choose this amenity to simplify their travels.”

Valet Parking is available for all passengers and visitors at the rate of $22/day and is open effective immediately. In addition to valet parking, passengers have the option of parking in the long-term or short-term parking lots. The long-term parking fee is $12/day, and the short-term parking fee is $15/day. Parking in the long-term and short-term lots is free for the first 30 minutes, allowing guests time to park and meet arriving passengers in the terminal without a fee. Guests waiting for arriving passengers also have the option of utilizing the airport’s complimentary cell phone waiting area until their party arrives, and they can greet them at the curb in front of the terminal.
